Peter-Paul Laarhuis and Robert van der Luijt from the Carbon Neutral Initiative had a productive meeting with Mr. Rene van Nes, the EU Ambassador in Guyana. The appointment was set up with the assistance of our local representative in Guyana, Marc Lucas. They discussed the potential for enhanced weathering projects in Guyana and how these projects align with the country’s low carbon development strategy. The ambassador recognized the need to remove carbon from the atmosphere, and we can count on his support in the future. It was a fruitful conversation, and we look forward to working together to combat climate change.
